Provider enrollment and credentialing in progress

Reliable transportation for the appointments peoplecan’t miss.

WarpCare Mobility is a locally operated non-emergency medical transportation company based in Des Moines and preparing to serve communities across Iowa. We are building the company around a straightforward commitment: show up, communicate clearly, and treat every rider with respect.

WarpCare Mobility is currently completing provider enrollment, credentialing, and operational setup. We are not scheduling member trips at this time.

Transportation services

Planned transportation for routine care, recurring treatment, and the trip home.

Once enrollment and credentialing are complete, WarpCare plans to provide ambulatory transportation for riders who can use a standard passenger vehicle. Local, rural, and intercounty trips will be handled according to the authorization and assistance level assigned by the transportation broker or referring organization.

01

Routine medical appointments

Planned transportation for primary care, specialist visits, follow-up appointments, lab work, and other scheduled healthcare needs. Each approved pickup and return leg will be coordinated through the referring broker or care partner.

02

Recurring treatment routes

Consistent transportation planned for dialysis, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and other ongoing treatment. Recurring routes will be assigned to a regular schedule whenever possible so riders and care teams know what to expect.

03

Therapy and behavioral health

Respectful rides planned for counseling, day treatment, behavioral health appointments, and community-based programs. Our care background helps us understand the value of patience, routine, and calm communication.

04

Approved discharges and returns

Planned transportation for authorized hospital or clinic discharges, will-call returns, and return trips after an appointment. Dispatch will communicate delays or changes instead of leaving the rider or facility wondering.

05

Intercounty and long-distance trips

Planned transportation between Iowa counties, including rural pickups and trips to regional hospitals or specialty providers. Every long-distance assignment will be reviewed for timing, return arrangements, and rider needs before dispatch.

Who we work with

One ride often involves more than one person.

A rider may be coordinating with a transportation broker, clinic, residential provider, guardian, or case manager. Our operating plan is built around keeping each authorized party informed, whether a trip is across town or across the state.

Brokers and health plans

A responsive transportation partner for assigned ambulatory trips, recurring routes, and areas where added capacity is needed.

Healthcare facilities

Clear coordination with hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, therapy programs, and discharge teams.

Ambulatory riders

Adults who can enter and exit a standard vehicle independently or with the level of assistance authorized for their trip.

Families and care teams

Dependable updates for guardians, residential providers, case managers, and others involved in a rider’s care.

How we handle a trip

Clear steps from assignment to drop-off.

Good service depends on accurate information and timely follow-through. This is the process WarpCare plans to use for each authorized ride after activation.

01

Trip details received

Dispatch will review the pickup time, destination, rider instructions, return details, and any authorized assistance.

02

Pickup coordinated

The trip will be assigned to a qualified driver and pickup details will be confirmed through the approved communication process.

03

Ride completed

The driver will transport the passenger safely, respectfully, and according to the trip authorization.

04

Trip closed out

Arrival, delays, no-shows, incidents, and other required information will be documented and reported promptly.

Safety and accountability

Good transportation starts before the driver arrives.

Every driver and vehicle will complete the required credentialing before entering service. We are building our policies around the standards transportation brokers, healthcare partners, and riders should expect from a dependable NEMT provider.

Our launch standards

The details matter on every trip.

Background checks, driving-record reviews, and other broker-required driver screening
Required CPR, first aid, defensive-driving, and passenger-assistance training
Commercial auto coverage, vehicle inspections, and a documented maintenance schedule
Clear procedures for delays, no-shows, incidents, rider concerns, and emergency situations
Confidential handling of trip information and respectful communication with every rider

About WarpCare

We come to transportation from direct care.

Care-provider experience

Safety, documentation, routines, and support

WarpCare Mobility was started by an experienced residential care provider who has spent several years supporting adults with disabilities and people with complex needs. That work teaches you quickly that transportation is not a small part of someone’s day. A missed or late ride can mean missed treatment, added anxiety for the rider, and hours of extra coordination for families and care teams.

We are preparing to begin with two vehicles based in Des Moines and planned coverage across Iowa. A focused launch will allow us to stay close to daily operations, learn our routes, support our drivers, and build dependable relationships before adding more vehicles.

Our goal is simple: become the provider partners can call when they need a ride handled correctly and riders can trust to treat them with dignity.
